Family Health

  • Mother and new-born baby checks
  • Women’s health including HRT
  • Sexual health and contraception*

*Dr Mistry qualified to perform contraceptive Implant and Coils

Testing

  • Phlebotomy (blood taking)
  • Spirometry (breathing tests) for asthma and COPD
  • ECG (Heart tracing)
  • 12 hour blood pressure monitoring
  • INR (warfarin monitoring and dosing)

Long term condition management

  • Asthma, COPD, Mental Health, Learning disability checks and many more
  • Medication reviews
    • Structured in depth medication reviews by pharmacists on phone
  • Diabetes
    • ANP’s Karen, Eileen and Dr Mistry qualified to start and optimise all treatments for Type 2 Diabetes including Insulin
  • Frail, palliative and vulnerable patient multi-disciplinary reviews
  • Weekly virtual ward round of our Care Home residents

Surgical procedures by Dr Ike

  • Steroid (cortisone) joint injections
  • Minor surgery of non - cancerous skin lesions/lumps

General nursing

  • Dressings, wound care management, injections, contraceptive pill check/review
