Dispensary at Wyncroft
MAKING LIFE EASIER
Greenwood and Wyncroft Surgery is a dispensing practice that currently dispenses medication to approximately 2500 patients. Current legislation permits the surgery to dispense medication only to patients who live more than 1 mile (1.6km) away from the nearest pharmacy, as the crow flies.
Serious Difficulty Rule
Patients who do not qualify under the mileage rule may apply to NHS England under the ‘serious difficulty rule’.
Patients with serious difficulty in using the local pharmacy because of distance or inadequate means of communication may apply to remain on their doctor’s dispensing list, but there are very strict conditions to be met in this regard.
If you believe that the serious difficulty rule might apply to you, please ask the dispensary team for an application form.

If you would like to use our dispensary services and meet the criteria, please speak to a receptionist who can register you as a dispensing patient.
The dispensary is staffed Monday to Friday 0830-1630
*this can be subject to change.
Patients can collect medication between 0800-1830 Monday to Friday.
Please see the table to the right for prescription processing times.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide a delivery service for medications. Repeat prescriptions should be made via Systmonline or Systmconnect or by handing in a white repeat slip in the post or on reception
