Flu Vaccination Programme- update 2025/26

The Flu vaccination program ends 31st March 2025 and will restart in September 2025 (for pregnant women ad children) and October 2025 for at risk adults including frontline healthcare workers. 

 

Those eligible for NHS influenza vaccination in 2025 – 2026 are:

– All children aged 2 or 3 years on 31/8/22

– All primary school aged children (done in schools)

– Those aged 6 months to 64 years in clinical risk groups (click here for Page 14 of Greenbook)

– Those aged 65 years and over

– Pregnant women

– Those who reside and work in care homes including frontline health and social care staff

– Carers

– Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals

Once above cohorts are vaccinated then the following groups will be eligible:

Secondary school aged children (Year 7/8/9)
